The Dimmitt Bobcats baseball squad (Dimmitt, TX), was overwhelmed 19-3 in Monday's league contest with the host Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX)

With the triumph, Idalou moves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 3A Region I District 2 contest on Saturday, March 22. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 14-4. Shallowater won 16-2 in their recent league contest against Friona (Friona, TX)

The Bobcats now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muleshoe for a 3A Region I District 2 contest on Saturday, March 22. Dimmitt will confront a Mules squad coming off a 14-6 league win over Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Mules record now stands at 7-7.
