In Monday's league game, the visiting Hillgrove Hawks baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Harrison Hoyas.
The Hawks (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAAA Region 3 game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Paulding County by Osborne (Marietta, GA), 11-8, in a league game.
Next, the Hoyas play the McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 match, on Friday, March 21. Harrison will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 16-2 record after their 23-5 league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA).
