North Carolina High School Baseball - Piedmont Community Charter loses to Highland Tech

March 17, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28052

The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots baseball squad (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 19-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC)

With the triumph, Highland Tech moves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Rams host Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Golden Lions come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Shelby lost 10-2 in their recent league contest against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ambassador Christian School for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 19. Piedmont Community Charter will confront a Lions squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.
