The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the visiting Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), saw Trion's baseball team gain a win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe by a tally of 7-2.
The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Blue Devils enter the A D2 Region 7 battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Manchester was overwhelmed by Hardaway (Columbus, GA), 13-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors face the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) in a AA Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 5-1 league win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA).
