North Creek Varsity Jaguars got out to a 5-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 7-6 victory over Mount Si on Monday. Mount Si closed the gap by scoring on a single, a sacrifice fly, a triple, and a double.
A sacrifice fly by Jack Cochran put North Creek Varsity Jaguars on the board in the top of the second.
Cayden Christopherson earned the win for North Creek Varsity Jaguars. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs over five innings, striking out five and walking five. Owen Krasowski took the loss for Mount Si. The starter went three innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking four. Joseph Boschee collected the save.
