The Salem Greyhounds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Mountain View Yellowjackets to 1 in the Greyhounds league win on Monday.

The Greyhounds now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heber Springs for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Salem will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 17-6 non-league win over Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Mountain View drops to 1-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Flippin (Flippin, AR) to clash with the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 test on Thursday, March 20. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 5-3. Flippin won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Berryville (Berryville, AR)
