The Verbena Red Devils baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Notasulga Blue Devils to 0 in the Red Devils league win on Monday.
The Red Devils now hold a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Autaugaville for a 1A Area 7 test on Thursday, March 20. Verbena will play a Eagles team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Central (Hayneville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Notasulga drops to 0-2 on the year. The Blue devils host Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-4.
