The Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) baseball trounced the visiting Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC), 11-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Easley for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Woodmont will clash with a Green Wave team coming off a 8-5 league win over J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Travelers Rest drops to 0-8 on the year. The Devildogs travel to Walhalla (Walhalla, SC) to clash with the Razorbacks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19. The Razorbacks go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Walhalla lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Seneca (Seneca, SC)
