West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson County overwhelms Musselman

March 17, 2025: Inwood, WV 25428

In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Jefferson County Wild lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 triumph over the Musselman Applemen.

The Wild (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the WVSLA - Division II challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Preston was overwhelmed by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Applemen clash with the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. Musselman will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 18-6 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).

The Musselman (Inwood, WV) varsity lacrosse team lost Monday's home conference game against Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV) by a score of 9-5.
