Fans at Monday's league battle between the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) and the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), saw Veterans's soccer squad knock off Coffee by a count of 2-0.

The Warhawks (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Bears enter the 5A Region 2 battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Houston County tipped Lee County (Leesburg, GA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. Coffee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Bacon County (Alma, GA).
