The American Leadership Academy Patriots soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Chester Cyclones to 2 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Saluda for a AA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, March 18. American Leadership Academy will play a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Chester moves to 0-9 on the year. The Cyclones host Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC) to play the Griffins in a AA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Fairfield Central lost 7-0 in their recent non-league bout against Newberry (Newberry, SC)
