Fans at Monday's league battle between the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) and the host Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), saw North Sanpete's soccer squad hold off Emery by a count of 2-1.

The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps enter the 3A Region 12 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Juab was edged by Payson (Payson, UT), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT) in a 3A Region 12 battle, on Wednesday, March 19. Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Manti (Manti, UT).
