Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 12-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Strom Thurmond moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Rebels host Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC) to clash with the Panthers in a AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-4. Batesburg-Leesville lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC)

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhoun County for a A Region 3 test on Thursday, March 20. Ridge Spring-Monetta will clash with a Saints team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Keenan (Columbia, SC). The Saints record now stands at 2-3.
