In Monday's league test, the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS), by a tally of 16-0.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) in a 4A Region 1 test, on Thursday, March 20. Amory will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-12 record after their 7-0 league loss to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS).

The Red Raiders (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves go into the 4A Region 1 test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Tishomingo County prevailed over Belgreen (Russellville, AL), 13-3, in a non-league test.
