The Salome Frogs softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Anthem Prep Eagles to 8 in the Frogs league win on Monday.

The Frogs now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antelope for a 1A West battle on Wednesday, March 19. Salome will confront a Rams team coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Anthem Prep moves to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Ray (Kearny, AZ) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Bearcats come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Ray won 14-11 in their recent non-league battle against ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ)
