The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) and the visiting Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), observed South Terrebonne's softball team get by Ascension Christian by a tally of 15-13.
The Gators (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs go into the 4A District 7 bout with a 13-2 record.
In their next game, the clash with the White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA) in a 1A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Ascension Christian will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 16-15 league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA).
