The Canyon Springs Cougars overwhelmed the host San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Moreno Valley Vikings (Moreno Valley, CA) in a Inland Valley challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Canyon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Corona (Corona, CA).
The Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Rosa Academy (Menifee, CA). The Rangers go into the South Valley challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Santa Rosa Academy was routed by Tahquitz (Hemet, CA), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
