In Tuesday's league test, the Dumas Demons (Dumas, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX), by a tally of 23-13.
Next, the Demons clash with the West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX) in a 4A Region I District 4 test, on Friday, March 21. Dumas will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 7-10 record after their 4-3 league win over Randall (Amarillo, TX).
The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Borger (Borger, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region I District 4 battle with a 5-20 record. In their last battle, Borger was routed by Hereford (Hereford, TX), 5-4, in a league battle.
