The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region III District 23 bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Burkeville was routed by Zavalla (Zavalla, TX), 19-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs (Corrigan, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 bout, on Friday, March 21. Colmesneil will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 5-4 league win over Hemphill (Hemphill, TX).
