Texas High School Softball - Como-Pickton bounces Fruitvale

The Como-Pickton Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Fruitvale Bobcats to 1 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumby for a 2A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Como-Pickton will confront a Trojans team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Alba-Golden (Alba, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Fruitvale moves to 4-7 on the season. The Bobcats host Yantis (Yantis, TX) to confront the Owls in a 1A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Owls come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
