The Junction City Dragons softball squad (Junction City, AR), was edged 5-4 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR)

With the triumph, Crossett improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR) to face the Ricebirds in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Ricebirds enter the contest with a record of 1-5. Stuttgart lost 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR)

The Dragons now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Ouachita for a 2A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Junction City will face a Warriors squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
