Texas High School Softball - Flour Bluff bounces King

In Monday's league match, the visiting Flour Bluff Hornets softball team scored a nice 21-1 win over the King Mustangs.

The Hornets (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans come into the 5A Region IV District 29 match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Corpus Christi Moody was routed by Alice (Alice, TX), 16-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 bout, on Saturday, March 22. King will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 9-8 league loss to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX).
