The Garland Owls triumphed over the host Lakeview Centennial Patriots softball squad by a count of 22-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Owls play the Wylie East Raiders (Wylie, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Garland will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 12-6 league win over Sachse (Sachse, TX).
The Patriots (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Pirates enter the 6A Region II District 9 challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Wylie overcame Garland (Garland, TX), 17-11, in a league challenge.
