The Glen Rose Beavers softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Hazen Hornets to 0 in the Beavers non-league win on Monday.

The Beavers now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Two Rivers for a 3A Region 5 battle on Friday, March 21. Glen Rose will confront a Gators team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Western Yell County (Havana, AR). The Gators record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Hazen moves to 1-4 on the season. The Hornets host Barton (Lexa, AR) to confront the Bears in a 2A Region 6 battle on Friday, March 21. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Barton won 33-31 in their recent non-league battle against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR)
