The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN) and the host Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), observed Sullivan East's softball team notch a victory over Happy Valley by a tally of 13-1.

The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Blue Devils go into the 3A District 1 bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Unicoi County gained a win over David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Happy Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN).
