The Holy Spirit Catholic Saints softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Pickens County Tornadoes to 0 in the Saints league win on Monday.

The Saints now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickens Academy for a 1A Area 9 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Holy Spirit Catholic will confront a Pirates team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to University Charter (Livingston, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Pickens County moves to 6-2 on the season. The Tornadoes host Central (Tuscaloosa, AL) to confront the Falcons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 1-6. Central lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Parker (Birmingham, AL)
