In Monday's non-league match, the host Lexington Tigers softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Huntingdon Mustangs.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Henry County (Paris, TN). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Henry County notched a victory over Clarksville (Clarksville, TN), 13-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 18. Huntingdon will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS).
