California High School Softball - San Clemente knocked off by Mission Viejo

The Mission Viejo Diablos overwhelmed the visiting San Clemente Tritons softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Diablos meet the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Mission Viejo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Gaels go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Reno (Reno, NV).

The Tritons (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Irvine (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Irvine toppled El Toro (Lake Forest, CA), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
