In Monday's league test, the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Vikings meet the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a Northwest 1A test, on Tuesday, March 18. North Stokes will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).

The Granite Bears (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the Northwest 1A test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Starmount prevailed over North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 14-0, in a league test.
