Next, the Rangers play the Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS) in a 4A Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Raymond will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Pearl (Pearl, MS).

The Blue Waves (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Natchez was routed by McComb (McComb, MS), 19-12, in a non-league challenge.
