The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Wasatch Wasps to 1 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a 5A Region 7 bout on Thursday, March 19. Maple Mountain will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Springville (Springville, UT). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.

The Wasps (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks enter the 5A Region 7 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Salem Hills held off Timpview (Provo, UT), 4-0, in a league game.
