North Carolina High School Softball - Orange bounces Carrboro

March 17, 2026: Carrboro, NC 27510

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) and the host Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), saw Orange's softball squad topple Carrboro by a score of 20-0.

With the triumph, Orange improves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Panthers host Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to face the Stallions in a non-league game on Thursday, March 19. The Stallions enter the game with a record of 7-0. Southeast Alamance won 16-0 in their recent league game against Graham (Graham, NC)

The Jaguars now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league game on Thursday, March 19. Carrboro will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to River Mill Academy (Graham, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
