Texas High School Softball - Compass Academy topped by Stanton

Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) fans exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their softball team run past the visiting Compass Academy Cougars (Odessa, TX), 20-10 in a league match.

The Buffaloes (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Tornadoes come into the 3A Region I District 3 match with a 7-7 record.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Coahoma Bulldogs (Coahoma, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 match, on Monday, March 23. Compass Academy will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 13-2 record after their 11-10 league loss to Denver City (Denver City, TX).
