California High School Softball - Orestimba edged by Hughson

Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA), 4-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Hughson improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a Trans Valley League game on Thursday, March 19. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 11-2. Hilmar won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Livingston (Livingston, CA)

The Warriors now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Ripon Christian for a Trans Valley League match on Thursday, March 19. Orestimba will battle a Knights team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.
