In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Durham Academy Cavaliers baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors.
The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Westchester Country Day was edged by Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC), 6-5, in a non-league game.
