In Friday's non-league game, the host Kennewick Lions baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Mead Panthers.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA). The Blue Devils go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Walla Walla tipped Pendleton (Pendleton, OR), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against University (Spokane, WA). The Titans go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, University was edged by Chiawana (Pasco, WA), 12-1, in a non-league game.
