In Friday's league game, the visiting Westlake Lions baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Lovejoy Wildcats.
The Lions (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAAAA Region 4 game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Lakeside was overwhelmed by North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), 14-3, in a league game.
The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Mundy's Mill was overwhelmed by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
