The Madonna Blue Dons baseball team (Weirton, WV), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV)
The Maroon Knights now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Williamstown for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 23. Wheeling Central Catholic will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 11-1 league win over Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Blue Dons face the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, WV) in a Mason-Dixon outing, on Monday, March 21. Madonna will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 11-0 league win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
