Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Southern Guilford upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Storm host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Camels in a Mid-State 3A test on Tuesday, March 22. The Camels come into the test with a record of 6-1. Atkins won 16-0 in their recent non-league test against Lexington (Lexington, NC)

With the defeat, Northeast Guilford falls to 2-5 on the season. The Rams travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to battle the Bison in a Mid-State 3A test on Tuesday, March 22. The Bison come into the test with a record of 3-4. High Point Central lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)
