In Friday's non-league game, the host Oak Ridge Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Stone Memorial Panthers.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Anderson County was overwhelmed by Lebanon (Lebanon, TN), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Upperman (Baxter, TN). The Bees go into the 3A District 7 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Upperman tipped Alcoa (Alcoa, TN), 7-6, in a non-league game.
