The Pike County Pirates baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Upson-Lee Knights to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.
The Pirates (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 2 match with a 3-6 record.
The Knights (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAA Region 2 match with a 14-1 record. In their last match, Mary Persons edged Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 14-3, in a league match.
