The Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Lancaster Bruins to 0 in the Copperheads league victory on Friday.
Next, the Copperheads face the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Catawba Ridge will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 8-1 league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC).
The Bruins now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to York for a AAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, March 22. Lancaster will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.
