Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 11-3 in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Fenwick for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 22. Carroll will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Turpin (Cincinnati, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
The Thunderbolts (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lima Senior (Lima, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Lima Senior was overwhelmed by Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH), 12-5, in a non-league game.
