The Byrnes Rebels lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the host Wade Hampton Generals to 5 in the Rebels league win on Friday.
The Rebels (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Vikings go into the 5A District 2 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Spartanburg was overwhelmed by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 21-10, in a league match.
The Generals (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Predators go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Fox Creek was overwhelmed by White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 14-0, in a non-league match.
