Texas High School Softball - Veterans Memorial bounces Alamo Heights

Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tivy for a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Veterans Memorial will face a Antlers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Alamo Heights falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to face the Antlers in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Antlers enter the challenge with a record of 7-5.
