Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 2-2 record.
With the loss, River Oaks falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Rayville (Rayville, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
