Spectators at Friday's league match between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), witnessed Forbush's softball squad prevail over East Surry by a count of 13-2.

The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Starmount for a non-league match on Monday, March 21. Forbush will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, East Surry moves to 1-6 on the season. The Cardinals host North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Greyhounds in a Foothills 2A match on Monday, March 21. The Greyhounds go into the match with a record of 2-4. North Surry won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Alleghany (Sparta, NC)
