The St. Stephens Indians the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes softball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the Western Foothills 3A battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, North Lincoln nudged North Iredell (Olin, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
