California High School Softball - Lompoc bounces Santa Ynez

March 18, 2022: Lompoc, CA 93436

Lompoc Braves (Lompoc, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Barbara for a Channel challenge on Tuesday, March 29.

With the loss, Santa Ynez falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA) to face the Conquistadores in a Channel challenge on Monday, March 21. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Cabrillo lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA)
