Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Orange-Stark for a 4A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, April 5.

With the loss, Vidor falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. West Orange-Stark lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX)
